One child is the packer: loads small objects into a bag or box. The other is the delivery person: carries the package to a destination and hands it over to a 'customer'. A stuffed animal, the parent, a chair with a name. They swap roles after each delivery. The structure prevents ownership disputes because each role is clearly defined and temporary. There is nothing to fight over when each child has exactly one job.

What you need

Small bag or box
5–10 small objects to pack (toys, blocks, kitchen items)

How to do it

1Set up a depot and a destination across the room. Name the customer something ridiculous: "Bear McFurface at the end of the hall is waiting for supplies."
2"You're the packer. You're the delivery person." Say it like it's official.
3Packer fills the bag; delivery person carries it over and hands it off.
4After each delivery, they swap.

Variations

If nobody wants to be delivery person, carry the first package yourself and make it look like the best job in the house — someone will want the next turn.
How it ends: when the depot's empty, announce the shop is closed for the day and let them stack today's deliveries on the shelf like trophies.
This one builds cooperation before it's needed. If a fight is already happening, use The Separate Reset (B006-20) instead.

💡 Parent tip

The sillier the customer's name, the more they'll cooperate with each other just to get the joke — silliness lowers the stakes of a shared task.
